![]() ![]() Our plan is to keep overhead low for about 5 years (student loan debt) and then maybe we can afford more. I don't want to leave NYC to live on top of my neighbor. I know Lakewood is what many people recommend but the lot sizes are small and you just seem to get more for your money in the other two areas mentioned. Does anyone on here have personal experience living in these areas? Are there young families like us there? We are educated, she's an artist, I studied science and will be working at NASA. ![]() We love the architecture in Cleveland Heights and University Heights. It also helps that she's an Ohio native and we'll have family around. She and I are relocating from NYC and very excited to improve our quality of life, slow down, buy a house and get out of this rat race here in New York. I am a 37-year-old, professional woman, moving to Cleveland with my partner (40-yr-old woman).
